2. What does a typical daycare day look like?
Your dog will enjoy a full day of engaging activities, including:
- Supervised playtime in our outdoor yards or climate-controlled indoor areas.
- Plenty of opportunities for socialization with other dogs in a safe and fun setting.
3. How are playgroups determined?
To ensure a positive experience for every dog, we carefully group dogs based on their size. This ensures that your dog is comfortable and can engage with others in a safe and enjoyable way.
4. What are the safety measures in place?
Safety is our top priority. Our facility includes:
- Secure fencing and controlled access to play areas.
- PCSA-certified handlers trained in canine behavior and first aid.
- Daily cleaning protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Air purification systems to ensure clean, fresh air for your dog.
5. What are the requirements for enrollment?
To join our daycare program, dogs must:
- Be up-to-date on all vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper/Parvo Bordetella ("Merck Nobivac Intra-trac3" Intranasal is strongly preferred), and Canine Influenza (“Nobivac Canine Flu Bivalent” version is strongly preferred as it protects against both canine influenza H3N8 and H3N2).
- Pass a temperament evaluation to ensure they’ll thrive in a group setting.
6. Does My Dog Need to be Neutered/Spayed to Play in Daycare?
Yes. In order for them to participate in doggie daycare, they must be altered by 10 months old. This is subject to change depending on the dog and is up to the discretion of the staff to determine if it is safe for the dog to remain in daycare until 10 months.
