Official Rules: K9 Resorts Jacksonville Free Daycare Giveaway

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER TO WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. Void where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state (including Florida), and local laws and regulations.         

 

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you, the customer (“You”) and K9JAX, LLC, a Florida limited liability company with an address of 816 E Dorchester Dr, Saint Johns, Florida 32259 doing business as K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Jacksonville (“K9 Resorts Jacksonville” or “the Sponsor”). These Terms govern the participation in a sweepstakes for limited free daycare service (the “Sweepstakes”). 

 

You form a contract with the Sponsor when You accept these Terms or when you otherwise enter the Sweepstakes. 

 

Description: K9 Resorts Jacksonville is offering a sweepstakes for one free month of daycare services, not to exceed 30 consecutive days. 

 

Eligibility: To be eligible to enter into the Sweepstakes, you must be: 

  • Signing up at the Sweepstakes page located at and; https://k9jacksonville.ac-page.com/free-daycare-giveaway18 years old at the date of entry and; 

  • A legal resident of Florida. 

 

Sweepstakes Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on or about April 1, 2026, and ending May 31, 2026. All online entries must be received by May 31, 2026 11:59 PM EST. 

 

Prizes: Winners will receive one month of free daycare, not to exceed 30 total consecutive days, with an approximate retail value of $1,770.00. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Prize is non-transferable and must be used in accordance with the Prize terms below. No cash substitution.  

 

How to Enter: The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided on this Sweepstakes site, located at https://k9jacksonville.ac-page.com/free-daycare-giveaway. The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to these terms may be disqualified at the sole discretion of K9 Resorts Jacksonville. You may enter only once. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of K9 Resorts Jacksonville.  

 

Employees of K9 Resorts Jacksonville, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.  

 

Winner Selection: Winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of the Sponsor on June 1, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Drawing Date”).  Winners will be selected by NamePicker.net, an online name randomizer. Eligibility to win the Sweepstakes is contingent on Your agreement that K9 Resorts Jacksonville may enter your name into a third-party website. By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree that K9 Resorts Jacksonville is not liable for any action of the third-party website, including but not limited to, sharing data or failure to protect privacy,  

 

Winner Notification. Winners will be notified via email to the email address entered on the Sweepstakes entry form within five (5) days following the Sweepstakes Drawing Date. K9 Resorts Jacksonville shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 72 hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.  

 

Prize Period  

  • Winners will have 90 days from K9 Resorts Jacksonville’s first day of business to complete their pet’s first daycare stay (“First Stay”). K9 Resorts Jacksonville’s first day of business will be marked by the first day the Resort is open and accepting dogs into the facility for daycare and boarding services. This is not to be confused with K9 Resorts Jacksonville’s “Grand Opening” promotional event which does not offer services to the public.   

  • Prize package will expire 29 days after the First Stay (the “Prize Expiration Date”). 

 

Prize Terms 

  • The prize is for one free month, or up to 30-days, of daycare.  

  • If less than 30 daycare stays have been completed by the Prize Expiration Date, the remaining daycare stays will be deemed invalid and no longer usable.  

  • The 30-day period begins on the first day of use. If fewer than 30 daycare visits are completed within that period, any remaining days will be deemed invalid and are not usable after the expiration date. 

  • The dog who completes the First Stay will be the only dog permitted to use the remaining Sweepstake daycare days.  

  • No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor's discretion.  

  • The prize is nontransferable.  

  • Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.  

  • No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted.  

  • All free daycare days received from the Sweepstakes may only be completed at K9 Resorts Jacksonville located at 100550 Deerwood Park Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32256, and will not be accepted at any other K9 Resorts location. 

 

K9 Policies: Acceptance of prize is contingent on you agreeing to all K9 Resorts Jacksonville policies which can be found on the K9 Resorts Jacksonville website. These policies include:  

 

  1. Evaluation, Safety and Eligibility 

  • All dogs must pass a preliminary evaluation before being accepted into daycare. 

  • Dogs must remain safe and appropriate for a group environment. 

  • Dogs may be suspended or permanently removed for behavior or health reasons. 

  • In the event a dog is removed and can no longer participate in daycare or at the Resort, no refund in free daycare days will be issued. 

 

  1. Health, Risk, and Veterinary Authorization 

  • Your dog must be healthy and properly vaccinated. 

  • Vaccination protocols can be found on the K9 Resorts Jacksonville’s website. 

  • You authorize emergency veterinary care if needed. 

  • You are financially responsible for all medical costs. 

  • Participation in daycare involves inherent risks that you are aware of and acknowledge. 

 

  1. No Refunds, Freezes or Exceptions 

  • Sweepstakes prize cannot be paused, frozen, or deferred. 

  • There will be no refunds or credits for: 

  1. Unused services; 

  1. Missed days; 

  1. Late Cancellations. 

 

  1.  Facility Discretion 

  • Handling methods and supervision are determined solely by staff for their safety. 

  • Staff may determine that for the safety and health of a dog, it be removed, separated, or restricted from daycare. 

 

Acceptance of prize is contingent on your pet passing a preliminary evaluation for daycare. IF YOUR DOG FAILS THIS EVALUATION, THEY WILL BE UNABLE TO ATTEND DAYCARE. SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE IS ONLY FOR DAYCARE AND NO OTHER K9 RESORTS SERVICES.  

 

ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED. 

 

Agreement: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of K9 Resorts Jacksonville, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. 

 

Media and Brand Representation: By entering this Sweepstakes you understand that K9 Resorts Jacksonville, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, your entry, including, the entry and winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, image or statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for promotional purposes without any further compensation. You grant permission for photos and videos of your dog to be used for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation. 

  

Termination: K9 Resorts Jacksonville reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sponsor, at its sole discretion, may also disqualify Sweepstakes participants at any time.  

 
Communications: By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to receive email newsletters and/or SMS messaging periodically from K9 Resorts Jacksonville. You can opt-out of receiving this communication at any time. 

 

Indemnification: You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless K9 Resorts Jacksonville, its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, franchisor, and assigns from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise out of or result of participating and or winning this Sweepstakes. You agree to indemnify Sponsor for any claims resulting from Your or your dog’s actions.  

 

Disputes: As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree that any and all disputes arising out of this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses. 

 

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.  

As required by Florida sweepstakes law:  

  • No purchase is necessary to enter to win. Prize of value is offered and winners are chosen by chance, but there is no consideration required to enter.  

  • The Official Rules disclose Sponsor identity and address, eligibility criteria, method and deadlines for entry, prize description and ARV, odds of winning, selection and notification procedures, and restrictions.  

  • Because the total prize value is below $5,000, registration with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and bonding are not required. After completion, winners’ names (for prizes valued over $25) must be provided to FDACS upon request. 

 

Severability: If any provision of these Terms are invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other term or provision of these Terms or invalidate or render unenforceable such term or provision in any other jurisdiction. Upon a determination that any term or provision is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, you and K9 Resorts Jacksonville shall negotiate in good faith to modify these Terms to affect the original intent of the parties as closely as possible.  

   

Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire understanding between You and K9 Resorts Jacksonville.  

 

Acknowledgment of Understanding: By entering the Sweepstakes, You confirm that: 

  • You understand the exclusive and limited nature of this Sweepstakes.  

  • You have reviewed and understand these Terms.  

  • You accept the Terms of the Sweepstakes and policies for Sweepstake winners.
