I stress limited, since the facility and staffing earned this 5 star review, and due to limited seating I hope not to draw too much attention to a wonderful business running at high demand and if the daily occupancy jumps, then this secret review gets deleted! Take your screenshot now. Are you a dog owner? Do you love your dog? Make an appointment for a tour. On your visit you will witness an all day "dog" block-party including professional & caring supervision. There are no photos attached to this review since the K9 Instagram is not shy with sharing my dog's smile. For less than $6 hr my dog has human caring and attention with dog socialization, all day or half day. After I pick up my dog from K9-daycare I can focus on things at home since someone is is super sleepy and dreaming about tomorrow getting back to K9 and his/her friends. Family has an event over the weekend? K9 is open seven days a week and no more worries about shooting home from event early since someone is anxiously waiting to get outside to pee/poop! I have only met Lex & Brittany, and based on those separate experiences I would leave my human kids for daycare too if there was a sister facility. I have seen other staff in the lobby too and while I have not met them, I know it is since they are escorting animals and their eyes are focused on the dog, not me walking in the entrance or their cell phones. If I come back as a dog, I hope my owner signs me up for K9-Resorts. I am on duty now since someone has to go outside before bed!

I moved back to Long Island right after K9 in Syosset opened its doors. I have a sweet 9 year old female yellow lab and we have been here from the beginning. It is like The Plaza Hotel for dogs! The staff is amazing, they are selective in their interviewing process and the location is perfect! I cannot say enough good stuff about this place. No dog leaves unhappy that is for sure. Love it!!

I am so happy that I found k9 resorts syosset for my dog. Everyone at this facility is always great and my dog loves going there for day care. She has also stayed overnight at the facility and I don’t feel like I have to worry that she’s been taking care of. I have nothing but great things to say about this facility and everyone that works there! Highly recommend!

We’ve been bringing Remy to K9 for 2 ½ years and absolutely love both the Syosset and Garden City locations! The staff are caring, attentive, and make every visit special. This summer’s camp program was amazing Remy even came home with a caricature drawing we loved so much we framed it, and a gold medal on Olympic Day! Having K9 available to us gives our family great peace of mind. We’ve never boarded Remy overnight, but it would be nice if they stayed open a bit longer, especially on weekends. Other than that, we couldn’t be any happier!

We have been loyal customers since 2022, and I wish I could give K9 at least 10 stars. Last year, when my baby was rushed to the ER and admitted to the NICU, our dog was being boarded at K9. We have to request to extend her stay during one of the busiest weeks of the year - spring break. Because of the emergency, the front desk went to great lengths to juggle their existing reservations to secure our dog a boarding spot while we were in-and-out of the hospital. Additionally, our dog has some ~athletic~ abilities, but the staff still adores her and always ensures she is safe - the most important thing. We are grateful to Alison, Glen, Sarah, Kelsey, Lexi, Erin, and all of the team.

I can't say enough good things about our experience boarding our dog here! From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear she was in loving, professional hands. The staff took the time to get to know her personality and made sure she felt comfortable and safe throughout her stay. When we picked her up, she was her usual joyful self—maybe even a little disappointed to leave her new friends! It's such a relief to know there's a place we can trust completely with our furry family member. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch boarding experience!

K9 Resorts in Syosset is an amazing facility where the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate my dogs and make sure they are comfortable and safe while I’m away. One of my dogs requires special medical care and I feel completely at ease knowing the staff is as competent, capable and responsible as I would be caring for him myself. My dogs always enjoy their time here, and I love knowing they are in great hands! (Plus, I love the photos they post on their Instagram page daily so I can see how much fun they’re having!) 😊

K9 resorts gives me such peace of mind when I’m away. I know my dogs are well taken care of. The staff is exceptional. The dogs get to socialize with other dogs in their size and they have fun events that keep them occupied. The pictures they take are amazing and many times get special portraits of my dogs for special events. It’s truly unbelievable. Thank God for K9!

I've been to several dog facilities in the area who declined to even meet my dog because of his breed and because I shared he had had a negative incident ast 8 months old with a person on my property (of course I had professional trainer see my dog and work with him after that). I used to bring my dog to play with other dogs before but because I was afraid of how he might react to the people I had to share that. Also he hadn't socialized in months. Canine resorts welcomed the opportunity to meet my dog evaluate my dog Not training but to work with my dog if necessary slowly assimilating him to the facility. I expected it might take time for him to acclimate if he was able to tolerate the staff because he was so anxious with people. Well the first day I get a report that he's not only fine with staff but also already playing with other dogs when I tell you I got a picture of my dog with a smile on his face surrounded by friends I'm not kidding. The facility is clean I had a tour which some places don't even allow. The staff is professional and was very understanding, and friendly. The facility seems to be run in a very safe manner and with a love for the dogs. My dog will now be a regular and after having seen multiple facilities other than this one I can tell you it's the definitely the nicest and the staff seems the most professional and trained to monitor our fur baby's.

I’ve been bringing my BostonTerrier Belle to K9 in Syosett for about 6 months now and she loves going, and I always feel comfortable with her there. They take such good care of her. They have a beautiful clean facility with a large indoor outdoor area for separate spaces for the large and small dogs. I bring her for daycare a few times a week, and then for Boarding when I go away and she’s always excited and happy to go. I highly recommend it.

This is by far the best daycare/boarding place I have ever brought my dog too. After nervously searching 10 different place. K9 Resort was incredible. The whole place was spotless, they had an indoor and outdoor play area, and the staff was super involved in each group of dogs big or small. I have a 7 month golden retriever and she has a blast here. While I am on vacation or traveling I have such a peace of mind knowing she is here because of the amazing staff and how they supervise, care, and truly love these dogs. I will always say such wonderful things about this place! 100% recommend bringing your dog here. They also have facebook/ instagram pages where they post updates photos of all dogs!
