Giving back to local communities & creating local partnerships is something K9 Resorts prides itself on. At K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel, community service isn’t about padding our resume – it’s about building a stronger sense of community.

Ways we give back

If there is something we can do to help others in the community, we feel it is our obligation to do so. As successful entrepreneurs, K9 Resorts founders, Steven and Jason Parker, are honored to give back to the community. It has always been a priority to give discounts to members of the military and first responders. We are blessed with a lucrative business that we started from scratch and we have come to learn that nothing feels better than earning money from hard work, sweat, and tears – except, perhaps, giving some of it back!

Some of the awards and recognition we have received include:

  • Recognition from the Boro of Fanwood NJ – The Mayor and Council awarded our Founders with the Fanwood’s Volunteer of the Month Award. This is the first time in Fanwood history that a business was honored with this award!
  • Award from Scotch Plains NJ Police Chief Brian Mahoney – Our founders were honored and inducted as Honorary Life Time Members of The Union County Police Chiefs Association in appreciation of their tireless support of Law Enforcement and Police Departments throughout Union County.
  • Award from United States Congressman Michael Ferguson – Our founders were honored with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition, in recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to the community.
