The welcome, the smell and the smiles!!! I absolutely love this place. Everyone was wonderful. I felt completely at ease leaving my 9 month old Maltipoo for a long weekend with these pros! I think I'll decline on the bath next time, though. Journey only had one matted area when I dropped him off but came home with several. Nonetheless, five stars. All the major areas of concern were prioritized and everything was seamless from start to finish. 💕

Our Lab has been going to K9 in Scotch Plains for a number of years when we travel. She always comes back happy and well taken care of. We appreciate the attention to her as she is on a very strict diet plan due to allergies, and there has never been a problem. The staff is always helpful and drop-off and pick-up quick and efficient.

My miniature schnauzer had a great first day at K9 resorts in Fanwood. The staff is super friendly and the facility is beautiful. She loved it so much that we are starting there once a week with her. We are looking forward to her going here regularly.

I love K9! Such a clean and professional environment that the dogs LOVE. Every time i bring my dog, Bowtie he runs in with his tail wagging and so excited to see all his friends. You can see why all of the pups love going and it’s so comforting to know how well the staff takes care of your animal while you’re away!

This was my first time ever boarding one of my dogs (I’ve had 2 in my life). I was always reluctant as I’ve heard horror stories - people’s dogs being bitten, getting sick, all the things. But having had my girl Lola since she was 9 weeks I haven’t had any time without her in about 5 months and anyone who’s raised a puppy knows how exhausting it can be. So a few days before I left to go on a much needed long weekend away, I decided to google a few local options and I’m so glad that I did! K9 Resorts team could not have been friendlier on the phone, and accommodated me on short notice. Even just walking into the facility it was so organized and beautiful. There were a lot of people working and that also made me feel very comfortable. They explained everything about introducing her to other dogs and how they take it slow, watching for all the body language and everything. Turns out Lola is a people dog not a dog dog but they definitely spent plenty of time playing with her, and even sent me pics! I already booked another stay for her now that I’ve found this option. Honestly if you need to board your dog for any reason, this would be the place to go. They just very clearly care about dogs and realize how precious they are to their human customers.

K9 Resort of Fanwood has been absolutely outstanding. I was truly impressed by the cleanliness and the strong safety measures they have in place. During my tour with Brian, he confidently answered all of my questions and made me feel completely at ease. I fully trust the entire team to care for both of my fur babies. Their staff is certified and well-trained in CPR and pet care, which gives me even greater peace of mind.

K9 Resorts Fanwood has been our go to place to board our dog Maverick. Their facilities are top notch, extremely clean, and very organized. Booking for extended stays is such a breeze and our drop-off and pick-up is very seamless. If you want piece of mind and an amazing boarding experience for your dog, K9 Resorts Fanwood is THE only place to go!

K9 Resorts 100% made my day! First time my rescue pup Hachi has ever been to doggy day care and to be honest I was a little anxious how he would do. The front desk staff, Julia and the other ladies were so wonderful and friendly. Received a very prompt update at 12:30p as promised and got the news Hachi doing so well‼️ We will be back for boarding -thank you K9 Resorts FANWOOD!

When I sold my home and had to choose a new neighborhood, I based my options around my ability to take my dogs to K9 Resorts. That's how much I love and value this place! And no, that's not an exaggeration. In fact, when I have to move in a couple of years, that too will be centered around K9 franchises. My dogs are never left alone at home. So to have dependable and safe daycare for them is pivotal. If it weren't for K9, the quality of life for me and my dogs would suffer immensely. The staff are professional, efficient, amazing and genuinely kind (the smiles always reach their eyes, if you know what I mean). The facility is state of the art: air filtration system, turf, always impeccably clean, etc. Their dog suites are top notch. The chandeliers are just icing on the cake. Their dog washing service is a back and lifesaver (my dogs weigh 97 and 75 lbs and are long haired). Their collaboration with multiple dog groomers is perfection and a time saver. My dogs and I cannot praise them enough. If I can't take them to K9, I cancel the plans and obligations. Other day cares cannot and do not compare. K9 Resorts are leaps and bounds better than their alternatives.
