School is mostly about making connections, right? And my girl was blessed to make some doggie friends with some of the sweetest, gentle pups in the area. Acceptance isn't automatic here. Their pups are screened to be up to date on vaccines and possess a friendly temperament. Very much a "Tails Up", relaxed and happy vibe for my dog, and I feel very safe to leave her there for the day. And, must I admit this? K9 Resorts is cleaner and smells better than my house!

Excellent dog boarding experience! The staff was friendly, professional, and clearly love what they do. The facility was clean and well-organized, and my dog (Cami) came home happy and relaxed. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in great hands. Highly recommend!

My almost 6 month old Boxer Pup, Apollo, Had his First Day Today at K9 Resorts for Daycare. His regular daycare was closed and he didnt want to stay cooped up at home when it was raining. He integrated really well with the big doggies. He had soo much fun..that he will go back the next day. He came running out so happy that he got to play. I saw the excitement in his face and with his lil wiggles. The staff/owner were soo nice upon welcome. They all loved Apollo and how he played really well. The building is soo clean and smells nice. Its literally spotless. Apollo was treated to royalty 👑 🐾 it felt like haha with my hubby and I as his chauffeurs to the resort. I am confident with him with the big doggies now. I know the staff will always call if they have an issue. Is also really nice they are partnered with a vet in case of any injuries.

My furry friend LOVES the daycare! He oozes excitement and happiness from the moment he knows he is heading there til the moment they playfully run with him when they bring him to me in their beautiful lobby waiting area. Highly recommended this for your dog’s socialization and exercise needs. Happy puppies everywhere! I am so glad to find the loving care they give here. So is my dog … and it radiates from him and all the others I meet in their lobby.

I don't like leaving my pup, but when I have to go out of town, I know K9 Resorts and their great staff take exceptional care of Coco!!!

10/10 completely recommend. Our beagle has gone to K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel - Virginia Beach for 2 years and he LOVES it! The staff is caring and attentive. He walks himself right in every day and runs out at the end of the day for a treat. It is his home away from home for days when we work. ♥

I left my two doodles in boarding while I did a Christmas Cruise from Norfolk. I am not really sure of how my dogs were care for but they seemed ok upon pick up. I did not get any pictures or notifications to my phone while gone. However I did call a few times just was told they were doing fine. I did see a short clip of them on the IG page. They seemed to be having fun. One thing that concerned me was I paid for a bath that was supposed to take place the morning of pick up. Upon pick up I questioned whether they had a bath and I was given an very uncertain answer. However I noticed that there coats did not look like how I brought them there so they had a bath at some point They looked like they were washed and not blow dried. They are doodles so their hair must be blow dried after a bath or they will become matted. When I got them home I found one’s ears and tail had matted. This is unacceptable!!! I paid to have a bath so at least blow dry the dogs. I know it was Christmas and you may were busy but take time to do what is needed to care for each dog. The customer is paying you for a full service and not a half one. You expect full pay and I expected for you to do a full service that I paid for. No customer wants to come pick up their dog to a matted look. I did not bring them their that way. They both were nicely groomed before coming. For future use a blow dryer when bathing dogs or let the customer no that blow drying is not part of the bath then I will consider another place for boarding.

My cousin and I were visiting family in Virginia Beach with our two dogs, Zoe and Finley, and needed daycare for a Saturday after Christmas. We regularly take our dogs to K9 Resorts in Apex, NC and absolutely love it, so we were hopeful the Virginia Beach location would be just as great. From the start, the staff was incredibly friendly, respectful, and kind. When we arrived, there was a small misunderstanding with our reservation, but the way the team handled it was truly impressive. They immediately worked to resolve the issue, got in contact with the owner, and she personally confirmed our reservation so our dogs could stay for the day. Zoe and Finley had the best time, and to top it all off, they comped the daycare fee because of the mix-up. That level of customer service was completely unexpected and so appreciated—it really showed how much they care about both the dogs and their people. We are beyond thankful for the Virginia Beach K9 Resorts team and can’t recommend them enough. Professional, compassionate, and genuinely above and beyond. We will absolutely return whenever we’re in the area!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish from K9 Resorts! We had never been there before and it was the first time we were boarding our puppy. They offered to give us a tour of the resort which we appreciated. It was extremely clean and smelled nice. The staff was friendly and they answered all of our questions thoroughly. The dogs in daycare looked like they were having a great time as well! We decided to book our puppy for a week while we were out of town. The app is super user friendly and details the stay, leaving no questions about the reservation. The owner kept us updated on how he was doing and even sent us pictures of him playing with the other pups! When we picked him up he was happy and bathed already. We have comfort knowing that we have a place to board him that’s going to take great care of him when we have to go out of town. We’re also going to do some doggie day care just so he can play all day with his puppy friends! Thank you again to the entire staff for taking such great care of our boy! We appreciate you guys!

I took my dog here last week for 2 days of day boarding. We were visiting from out of state and needed a place for him to stay during the day. Since he is not yet neutered, he was not able to play with the other dogs. I was told he would only get private play time with the staff a few times throughout the day. I asked to see the area/room he would be staying in and told me I was not able to go back and see it. Considering this is my first time taking my dog to any kind of daycare/boarding, I think I expected a little more. I was hoping for at least pictures or text message updates on how he was doing throughout the day. And when I came to pick him up at the end of the day, the staff barely said a word about how he did. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, I think I was just expecting a little more communication. Nonetheless, the place looked nice and clean and very luxurious for the dogs. Thank you for having my pet!
