K9 Resorts is by far the best place I’ve ever taken my dog! Their staff is stellar and their service is absolutely unmatched! I can board my dog with them and not lose any sleep because I know he’s in the best hands possible. This is the only place I will ever take my pup for boarding or daycare.
K9 Resorts always takes good care of my baby Ralphie whenever I have to go out to sea. I trust them and I can tell they take great care in their work and the animals in their care. It well worth the price to have peace of mind that my puppy is in good hands and is getting the affection and care he needs while I'm away.
Copper had an absolutely wonderful time at K9 Resorts, and it is such a relief to find a daycare that treats him like family. The staff's attentive care and genuine affection for puppies made his experience both safe and incredibly fun. I highly recommend them to any pet parent looking for top-tier service and a happy, tired pup at the end of the day!
Immaculate, professional and caring! First time boarding my dog at K9 Resorts and I could not be more pleased. This resort is top notch and Kylie was well taken care of and freshly bathed when I picked her up. I could tell she received great care and lots of love during her stay.
For the first time my 2 Shi Tzu’s were boarded, and I chose K9 Resorts. It was a great experience. For me because I knew they were being well taken care of and Blue at 13, Max at 2 had a fabulous time and smelled so good when picked up. They were NOT kept in a cage and had a great time playing during the day, and peace at night in their private room and beds. You will not be disappointed. You won’t worry if your pets are happy and safe, when they stay at K9 resort.
I met Cheryl, one of the Owners, at a street fair in Wilmington last fall. She was and is so very enthusiastic for the way the business model works with and loves all of their animals. The environment is happy and bright and beautiful. The boarding areas and daycare areas are very clean, healthy and accommodate every need! My little Snowball enjoys the daycare and the inside and outside protected space. It just flows! It is a great place :)
K-9 Resort is absolutely fantastic! They make the booking process quick and easy, and we never have to worry about availability. Most importantly, they take wonderful care of both of our dogs, Tiger and Kliff. Knowing that they’re safe, happy, and well cared for makes our trips so much more enjoyable. I would hands down recommend this place to anyone for their pup. She had so much fun there and came back smelling nice and clean. I didn’t have to worry once about my girl on our trip.
Excellent facility that I would highly recommend. My pups are always excited to come here. Thought I would share my review from my pups perspective: We love coming here for daycare. We have not tried the sleepover yet. The place is always clean and the humans are super friendly and fun. We get belly rubs, playtime and lots of love. We are always happy and tired when mommy picks us up. Thank you! 🐶🐶🐾
I had a fantastic experience with this dog boarding facility! The entire place was spotless and well-maintained, which gave me peace of mind right away. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly polite and attentive. Most importantly, my dog was well cared for and came home happy and healthy. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and caring environment for their pet!
Very very friendly, you can tell they understand and love all dogs! In the past I have been turned away simply because I own a pit bull breed, K9 resorts didn’t even bat an eye and my dog Odie gets a chance to play all day! Love the atmosphere and know he is being well taken care of and supervised. Revising my review a few weeks later: staff really blew me away, after a late scheduling they had excellent flexibility which I greatly appreciated, and they go above and beyond for their pet parents. Today I got to bring home a little something special after picking up Odie and it made my entire day. Thank you K9 resort!
This was our first time using K9 Resorts in Wilmington and Tommy's first time at a boarding facility. From the initial tour all the way to picking him up we had a wonderful experience. The facility is the cleanest we have ever seen, Tommy had so much fun with the staff and the other pups, and he even came to us smelling fresh and clean. Having a small dog brings its unique challenges as most facilities cater to large dogs, but Tommy was right at home here with the other "littles." I can't say enough about how great this business is. We will only use K9 Resorts going forward, thank you!
This was the first time I boarded my dog, and I am so glad it was at the K9 resort. The facility was shiny clean, the staff was super loving, and my pup was genuinely happy! I was grateful for the professional quality photos that were regularly posted— my fur baby looked like he was smiling and truly having a great time. And when I picked him up, the staff gave him such sweet goodbyes (and a goody bag) and he looked/smelled so good. I’ll definitely use the resort again and am even considering day care a morning or two per week just because my guy seemed to really enjoy all his new canine and human friends there. I’m very selective about where my pup spends his time away from me. Since the moment I first entered the building at their open house, K9 Resorts has been consistently impressive. As a veterinarian, I asked many questions regarding safety, cleaning protocols, vaccination requirements, air filtration, etc while touring their beautiful facility. 10’s across the board! The staff is all friendly, highly knowledgeable and accommodating. This is dog daycare and boarding done right! I love seeing pics of my dog having fun on Instagram. He’s always excited to arrive, and comes home sleepy. A wonderful and welcome addition for discerning dog parents in Wilmington! They have this vet’s stamp of approval. 💯
