Kim General Manager
Kim Tryon, who serves as General Manager, is a passionate animal lover with over 20 years of experience in the pet care profession. Kim has managed multiple daycare and boarding facilities both in her home and with a separate business dedicated to superior pet care. In addition, the past seven years Kim has worked as a veterinary technician in a multi-practice veterinary clinic. Kim’s love of animals will become apparent when you meet her at K9 Resorts Mount Pleasant. She lives with her Husband Ben and she enjoys going for runs, playing soccer, and exploring the low country.
Brendan Assistant Manager
Brendan, a native of the Chicago suburbs, comes to Mount Pleasant with experience in logistics and project management. His entrepreneurial mindset and love of all animals drove him to come help run K9 and provide a growing community with a state of the art and trustworthy dog daycare and boarding facility. His main responsibilities include marketing efforts and community awareness as well as financial management. He also fills in for Tammy and Kim and helps make K9 a wonderful experience for both customers and their pets alike. His hobbies include hiking, cooking, ice hockey, coral reef keeping, and anything to do with technology.
Tammy Assistant Manager
Tammy Johnson, originally from Seattle, Washington is an obsessive animal lover with loads of experience in animal shelters both in Seattle and here in South Carolina. She also has an impressive track record volunteering. Her main responsibilities include day to day operations, staff training, and customer service. She has an amazing attitude and truly brings her all to K9 every day. She lives in Summerville with her husband Mike. They have two dogs, a cat, and continue to foster cats in their spare time. Tammy also loves to volunteer at H.O.P.E Acres Equine Rescue in Goose Creek, SC.
