Our dog daycare for large breeds is designed to give bigger pups the space, structure and attention they need. Spacious indoor and outdoor play areas provide plenty of room to run, explore and socialize in a resort-style setting. Our team closely monitors play, encourages positive interactions and maintains a safe, well-managed environment from drop-off to pickup.
Before joining group play, each new guest completes our daycare evaluation and integration process. This gives our team time to learn more about the dog’s play style, energy level and response to a new setting. Thoughtful introductions take place before group play so dogs can become familiar with the environment at an appropriate pace.
Dogs are grouped by size to help create a more appropriate play environment. For large dogs, this means spending time with dogs whose size and movement are generally better matched to theirs.
Our team also recognizes that group play is not the right fit for every dog. Private play sessions offer another way for dogs to enjoy movement, attention and enrichment with a trained team member. This flexible approach gives pet parents options that best fit their dog's individual needs.
Outdoor play areas feature K9 Grass, a state-of-the-art turf system designed specifically for dogs. Its Microban antimicrobial technology and proprietary drainage create a durable, soft and paw-friendly surface for active play.
Large breeds often have plenty of energy to use during the day. Doggie daycare can provide a helpful outlet for exercise, social interaction and mental engagement in a structured setting. Luna has attended daycare at k9 resorts several times a week for the past year, including a fun summer camp. She absolutely loves it and the staff, and is always excited to go. The staff goes above and beyond. They have learned Luna’s personality and are very caring. They always let us know how Luna’s day went and alert us to any minor issues. We also love that we’re able to see how she is doing (on Instagram) throughout the day. The facility is lovely, with both indoor and outdoor areas. Definitely would recommend.

Our beloved Biko simply LOVES whenever he gets to stay at K9 Resorts in Garden City!! The staff is absolutely amazing and so loving, not only to Biko, but also to us. We truly feel so good about leaving him under their watchful care and he loves being able to play and socialize with all his playmates. We appreciate the pictures that we receive while away, which definitely eased our initial trepidation as new clients about a year ago.
